Our client is a highly respected, market leader established for over 100 years.
Well known within their industry they have a reputation for providing a vast portfolio of products, including materials handling solutions, hygiene, PPE, industrial and office supplies alongside many more.
Due to this success, they are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to cover Scotland and the North East of England.
Responsible for developing an existing account portfolio (approximately 75% of the role) whilst constantly hunting for new business opportunities, you will be the focal point for accounts within the region.
What you need:
Extensive experience gained in a gained in a similar BDM/Account Manager role.Exposure to a role selling a vase portfolio of products.Experience of winning, developing and retaining accounts across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, HoReCa etc.Experience gained selling similar products (i.e office supplies, hygiene/catering consumables, PPE, workwear etc would be an advantage.A passion for impeccable customer service.A demonstrable history of consistent target achievement.A team mentality.Highly developed commercial acumen.
