Business development manager USA/Canada- Required for this accommodation only luxury travel company. UK based with around 10 weeks travel per year. Salary up to 45,000, great bonus on business won plus excellent benefits including unlimited holidays, pension. Hybrid role, office based in London. Previous business development experience in travel is a must, ideally with knowledge of the North American market

Business development managers duties

-Bring in new clients and build/maintain relationships (focus on luxury leisure segment / consortia)

-Attend trade shows, partner events and road shows, organise events and sales calls around the US and Canada

-Organise regular online meetings, webinars and presentations

-Work with management and company representation in the US to create a coherent sales strategy

-Lead fam trips to our destinations

-Work with the marketing team on newsletter/social media content

-Work with the product department to drive the correct resorts and offers to the markets

-Evaluate existing partnerships

-Track trends and analyse stats across all clients and markets

Business development managers kills required

-Proven ability to deliver sales strategies, build relationships and drive revenues

-Experience in luxury hospitality/travel

-3-5 years in a similar role

-Good knowledge and understanding of US / CAN markets

-Ideally, knowledge of the Indian Ocean and / or Caribbean destinations

-Engaging personality

-Ability to travel frequently: 5+ times per year to US/CAN, as well as to their destinations in the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean

-Candidate based in and around London as this is a hybrid position,
