About the role

Are you a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong passion for driving business growth? As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, whilst building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving overall revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your strategic thinking, persuasive communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching market trends and competitor analysisDevelop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed revenue targetsBuild and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients through regular communication and meetingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions that address clients' business needsNegotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial termsStay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify potential business partnerships and growth opportunitiesAttend exhibitions both in the UK and internationally.Travel in the UK and overseas to meet clients - approx. 50% travel/50% office based Requirements

Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably with experience selling technical products into aerospace and automotive sectors.Strong aptitude for absorbing technical product informationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordSelf-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for achieving resultsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentMust be prepared to travel throughout UK and internationallyThe demands of the role are such that remote/hybrid working is not offered. Candidates must already live within a commutable distance or plan to relocate for this role. What's on offer
