A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and energetic Business Development Manager to join a progressive company within a new BDM role.

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager, you will be helping to expand the business's suite of professional services.
You will be at the forefront of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with this target market.
You will be office based 1 day a week, working from home 1 day a week and field based for the remainder of the week.
What's in it for you:
Salary - GBP40k OTE GBP52k
Car allowance GBP350 per month
Hours - Mon to Friday 8am-5pm - flexi time offered
WFH 1 day per week

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
Plan sales campaigns
Create a sales pipeline
Increase sales of the professional services department
Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors
Develop the business sales and marketing strategy research and identify new business opportunities - including growth
Areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
Generate leads and call prospective customers
Meet with customers/clients face to face and over the phone
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes
For this Business Development Manager role the employer is looking for:
Sales Management/ Business Development Management experience
Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work decision-making skills
The ability to analyse sales figures and write reports
