Business Development Manager
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, and driving the growth and profitability of our company.
As a Business Development Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services- Create and implement effective strategies to reach and attract new business opportunities- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions- Pitch and present our company's products and services to potential clients, both face to face and over the phone- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers, ensuring mutual benefit and satisfaction- Manage and oversee the business development team, providing guidance, training and support- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, finance, operations and product development, to ensure alignment of goals and strategies- Monitor and analyse the performance of the business development activities, using key metrics and reports
To be successful as a Business Development Manager, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience as a business development manager or similar role in a B2B- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Creativity, innovation and enthusiasm for new challenges
