Business Development Manager - Manchester/Remote
1 day office-based, 4 days work from home.

I am working with an existing client that is looking to add another Business Development Manager to their boutique consultancy business.
Having successfully placed someone in this role last year, the feedback from them has been great. They have been fully supported by the team during their time in the business and they are benefiting from the great financial package/bonuses and the flexible work setup.
This boutique agency/consultancy specialises in the Financial Services/Change Management markets and most of its services specialise in risk, regulatory/financial change, compliance, and financial crime.
They re well established and have solid relationships with some of the UK's largest banking groups, insurers, and financial institutes (and occasionally internationally). Partnering with these businesses they deliver large and complex regulation and change projects.
It s a highly autonomous role that will be predominantly working from home. They do have a Manchester office where the team meets up once a week or so. It would be ideal if you could also travel to their Manchester office to meet up with the team a few times a month.
Essentially, you will be managing and maximizing existing client relationships alongside building relationships with new clients.
You will then be supported by the delivery team who will fulfill the recruitment needs of the clients.
So, who are they looking for?
Ideally, you will either be a current Business Development Manager/Consultant, a Senior Recruitment Consultant, an Executive Search Consultant, or working as a Consultant within a Change Management Consultancy (with experience in contract recruitment).
They would like someone who is used to working with Financial Services clients or Fintech companies, but this isn't essential.
You ll need a strong track record of winning new business and managing existing relationships within recruitment.
So, what's on offer?
A very competitive basic salary of between GBP35-55k basic (depending on experience/results).
Realistic OTE of GBP150k+ (excellent commission scheme)
