Job Title: Solar Panel Sales Representative

Are you passionate about clean energy and sustainability? Are you a persuasive communicator with a drive for success? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Panel Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Sales Generation: Initiate and drive the sales process, actively seeking new business opportunities with the assistance of their reputation, referrals and strong leads provided.

Consultative Selling: Build strong relationships with customers and engage in consultative selling, understanding their energy needs and educating them about the benefits of solar panel systems tailored to their specific requirements.

Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a understanding of solar energy products, system, and related technologies, effectively communicating their advantages and benefits to customers.

Proposal Development: Prepare and present persuasive proposals to potential clients, outlining system design, cost estimates, return on investment, and other relevant information.

Project Management: Collaborate with the installation and project management teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process from contract signing to the completion of the solar panel installation.

Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and government incentives or regulations related to solar energy to provide accurate information to clients.

Sales Targets: Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of the company.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in solar panel sales is great but not a must. Renewable energy sales, or a related field is highly desirable. Sales candidates with a passion for renewable energy are encouraged to apply.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and compelling manner.

Sales Skills: Proven track record of successful sales achievements, demonstrating the ability to close deals and convert prospects into loyal customers.

Self–Motivated: A self–starter who can work independently as well as part of a team, with strong motivation to meet and exceed sales targets.

Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of solar panel systems and renewable energy concepts is advantageous. Willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge is essential.

Customer–Centric: A customer–focused approach with the ability to understand clients' needs and provide suitable solutions.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate customer schedules.

A basic salary of GBP25,000 – GBP35,000 is available for the right Business Development Manager with a rewarding commission structure of an uncapped OTE, on target earnings will be more than GBP25,000 + a yearly bonus.
