Key Accountabilities
• To build and manage strong commercial relationships with customers.
• Act as a senior business contact for customer relationship development and management.
• Control and improve business performance, service delivery, financial management, cost and quality.
• Ensure agreed customer requirements are understood and communicated to relevant colleagues.
• Pursue revenue opportunities with new and existing customers.
• awareness of industry trends and developments and demonstrate awareness to customers.
• Initiate pricing and rate reviews that are in the best interest of the company.
• Challenge practices and business performance that threatens profitability and customer service.
• Handle company tender responses and new business opportunities.
• Analyse and interpret key business information to make informed decisions.
• Full knowledge of customer charges and commercial agreements.
• Work closely with finance team.
• Protect the business regarding customer claims.
• Ensure full process adherence, whilst identifying and involving others in continuous improvement initiatives.
Personal Profile
• At least 5 years business development strategy and direct sales experience.
• Education to bachelors level desirable.
• Knowledge and experience of food industry, warehousing, supply chain.
• B2B experience selling complex industrial products and solutions.
• Previous and proven managerial and sales experience.
• Experienced in use of MS Office applications like Word, Excel and PowerPoint
