Business Development Manager Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy by identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue through strategic sales initiatives while nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:

Research and identify new business opportunities in diverse markets, trends, and customer segments. Develop comprehensive sales plans to exceed targets and penetrate new markets. Plan and execute strategic sales campaigns, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities. Negotiate and finalise agreements with clients, closing new business deals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Marketing, to drive business objectives. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Maintain detailed records of activities and report on performance metrics regularly.

Skills and Qualifications required of a Business Development Manager:

Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building business from the ground up. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for effective internal and external interactions. Ability to understand and articulate technical product information. Proficient in IT tools, especially spreadsheets, for analysis and reporting. Exceptional interpersonal skills for relationship-building and client management.
