Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for a Business Development Manager with 5+ years B2B industry experience to work for an established and successful, market leading company in the sports / uniform sector. Due to continued expansion, this Altrincham based company are looking to recruit an exceptional Business Development Manager (BDM) with energy, personality, ambition, a strong work ethic and a can do attitude, to work closely with their Sales Director, Sales Team and customers.

Applicants should ideally have at least 5 years experience in a B2B senior sales role, be confident in hunting out new business and understand the importance of following a set process and effective CRM use.

Further requirements for the Business Development Manager role: -

A senior sales role with potential for promotion in a forward-thinking, fast growing uniform and sportswear business. A commercial head with a proven track record over several years in converting strong prospects through customer pipeline. A Professional sales approach to get beyond gatekeepers to engage directly with business owners. Manage day to day Sales projects, liaising directly with the Sales Director. CRM (Salesforce or similar) experience required as the successful candidate would be required to ultimately manage daily Sales office CRM activity. Largely office based but may be required to visit customers from time to time. You will work directly with the Sales Director in pursuing new target markets. Potential to mentor the Sales Team and become a systems expert . Experience within the sportswear or uniform industry would be an advantage. The successful candidate will work directly with the Sales Director to deliver their strategy but will need to demonstrate a level of autonomy in the execution of the company s sales campaigns. This is a mainly office-based role in Altrincham.
