We have a great opportunity for a dynamic and results driven business development professional to join this global automation and technologies solutions business. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while contributing to the overall strategic vision of the company.

You will need to have experience within engineering and automation, be an excellent communicator with high attention to detail to interpret the customers needs, and although you will be working with the wider cross functioning teams there will be times that you are working autonomously so will need to have strong time management skills and be self-motivated.

Key responsibilities for a Business Development Manager

Maintain and develop customer relationships. Work closely with the wider project and engineering teams to understand the customers. needs and ensure these are reflected in proposals. Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes. Prepare and submit quotations and tenders . Support Project Managers during projects communicating any variations or changes. Ensure handovers to the Operations Dept are comprehensive and complete. Log and update customer and lead information in the CRM database. Work closely with the procurement team to maintain supplier relationships. Qualifications of a Business Development Manager

Degree of HND in Engineering and Business Minimum 2 years experience in sales, project engineering, project management including costing and quoting A strong background in automation and engineering Site surveying skills An understanding of ERP Systems Knowledge of CRM Understanding drawings and bills of materials Strong communication skills with customers, suppliers, and internal departments Benefits and Salary of a Business Development Manager
