Our Vision is to become a leading Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Britain to tackle the Climate Change Crisis by educating and providing voluntary carbon offsetting to all - from individual subscriptions, charities and organisations - to businesses of all sizes.

Founded in 2020, due to overwhelming support the organisation has rapidly expanded, with our new headquarters based in Central London. So far our projects have already offset over 3 Million Tonnes of CO2e and planted over 5 Million Trees, helping stop climate change and providing essential forest habitats for endangered wildlife.

The Role

As a fast moving entrepreneurial-business, we are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Executive, to help manage our current clients, as well as promote our services to new enquiries.

Initially managing existing clients (via video call, phone and email), the candidate must have a strong business to business sales background, as the role will develop to responding to business enquiries, and promoting our Carbon Calculation, Offsetting, and Certification services.

In addition, as a 'startup' business, the roles and responsibilities of the position will change over time - and so the candidate must be enthusiastic and willing to jump in and help on various tasks as required.

Working in a rapidly growing business, the candidate will have significant opportunities for growth and development within the organisation - with the potential to move into new roles, as the needs and requirements of the business change over time.

The key initial responsibilities would be:

Contacting, and presenting our environmental services to new business enquiries (generally via video call, but on occasion, face to face).Managing annual renewals of existing clients, via email, phone and video call.Following up and management of existing, and prospective clients.Management of client environmental data, along with business team. In addition, the candidate will also gain significant knowledge and experience in the environmental sector - overseeing the calculation, offsetting and certification of business clients.

Skills and Qualifications

The following are required for the role:

Undergraduate Degree or higher3 or more years sales experience within the business to business sectorExperience presenting to clients via Teams/Zoom/Video call with an excellent communication and presentation aptitudeExcellent written communication skills (ideally from working within a corporate environment)Excellent knowledge of excel, outlook, and teamsLocated in London, and able to commute to Bank, LondonRight to Work in the UK We also hope the candidate also has the following:

A passion for sales and business generationA strong interest in the environment and climate changeMotivation and energy to work in an early stage startupWillingness to work for a small companyDesire to grow and develop into a key member of the organisation Application Process and Start Date

Successful candidates will be initially contacted to arrange a teams or phone call (to mutually discuss the suitability for the role), followed by a face to face interview at a time convenient for the candidate.

As a new role - the start date is flexible.
