Citrus Recruit has an exciting opportunity in partnership with a renowned National IT brand, we are currently seeking Business Development Executives in Coventry.You will be building relationships with new and existing businesses to sell IT and Telecoms solutions into them, and then managing the account as they grow. Our client offers a wide variety of IT and telecoms products, supported by an established training program and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in telesales, desk-based, or internal sales, ideally within the telecoms, IT, or technology sector.You will be working as part of a team of 25, who all work together in Inside Sales, Field Sales and Customer Service.We are looking for self-driven individuals who consistently exceed sales targets and are eager to progress into a field sales role.Responsibilities & day to day dutiesAs a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for: Making outbound Calls to B2B customers to achieve your sales targets To Complete all Sales Order paperwork within 24 hours with a high level of accuracy To keep up to date a full and complete sales ledger tracking your sales To Learn and develop your own effective solution selling sales technique to ensure you are selling multi-product solutions. To deal with any inbound queries and pass to the relevant team To Take ownership of all of your targets and deliver on a consistent basis - reviewed monthly and then quarterlySkills & experience required. At least 12 months experience in an outbound sales based role Must be able to identify, generate and close new business Highly pro-active Be driven, determined & self-motivated Strong relationship building skills Be able to work as part of a team Excellent communication skills and telephone manner Excellent listening skillsBenefits Salary of up to GBP32,000 Commission and ad hoc incentives. OTE circa GBP40,000 once up and running Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm 20 Days annual leave Plus bank holidays increases by 1 day per annum until 24.
