Business Development & Events Executive
Main Purpose of the job:
To promote the business development opportunities of The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB) to current and potential commercial partners and the wider film/tv industry. To organise Production Guild of Great Britain events for members and partners.
Responsible to: Deputy CEO
Responsible for: Business Development & Events Co-ordinator
Salary: GBP39,000
Hours: 9:30am-6pm, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and evening work.
Hybrid working; working from home Monday's & Friday with office-based Tues-Thurs. Postholder to be flexible to work outside of office hours, where required. Interviews:

The Production Guild of Great Britain represents the professional interests of film and high-end television drama industry production practitioners. Our 1,000+ strong membership work at all levels in; production office, production accounts, location management, assistant directing, post production and VFX.
Main tasks of the job:
Business Development
To respond to all business development enquiries and promote the benefits of PGGB partnership To manage the application process and onboarding of business partners, affiliates Responsibility for a portfolio of commercial partners, maintaining excellent relationship management Work with Deputy CEO on signing up new partners/affiliates to meet business targets Personal business targets to secure new business partnerships To regularly engage with and continually build on strong working relationships with existing partners and affiliates, to maximise opportunities for all To represent PGGB at external meetings and events when required To keep excellent administrative records and update where necessary the latest data about partners, affiliates and contacts on CRM and online platforms Events
To lead on the organisation of the annual Talent Showcase event liaising with sponsors, venue, catering, speakers and guests to develop a successful event To assist with the organisation of the bi-annual PGGB awards Support our national and regional committee events from planning to delivery For bespoke events - delivering from conception to close of physical event (managing strike/wrap) and managing set budget Greet and network with guests at events Collate information about attendance at events and keep records Keep the PGGB events pages up to date at all times The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and the Business Development & Events Executive will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Experience and Personal Qualities
Essential:
Leadership capabilities and decision-making skills. Excellent teamwork skills. Demonstrable interpersonal, networking & communication skills. Administrative experience, with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes inc. Outlook, Word and Excel. Flexibility and a 'can-do' attitude. Attention to detail and organisational skills.
