750 per day LTD
Cheltenham (Travel to London weekly is required - hybrid working)

Our client within the defence space is currently searching for an experienced and senior business analyst to join their team in Cheltenham. This role requires candidates to have active SC as a minimum and would require travel into London.
The team are looking for someone with strong BA capabilities, including gaining requirements, frequently engaging with senior stakeholders, working with change management professionals as well as other standard BA requirements.
Role responsibilities:
Problem & requirements analysis
Provide objective, evidence-based analysis through quantitative and qualitative investigations and recommendations for action that helps clients achieve their desired outcomesWork with a wide range of stakeholders to ascertain the real business problems and requirements behind their expressed needs for changeCapable of translating these requirements into tasks for technical delivery teams to implementConfident in documenting process of users and systemsCapable of working in an agile environment with changing requirements
Strategy and governance
Ensure the strategic goals of the organisation are captured and used to inform traceable decision makingContribute to the development of business and/or technical strategy for an organisation and generate roadmaps to deliver the changePrepare business cases which define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits through development of new processes, and associated business risksEnsure governance and oversight of the change aligns with the desired business outcomes and user needs
Business change management
Use methodological techniques to investigate, review and analyse the people, processes, organisation and technology elements that would be impacted by our deliveryAct as a liaison between the solution delivery team and our customers in the development and implementation of new solutions to meet business needsSupports users through the implementation by tailoring relevant training, communication and engagement activities to the implementation planPerform acceptance testing of new products and recommend actions for improvement
Professional and leadership development
Take responsibility for own professional Business Analysis development through training, mentoring, professional memberships etc.Provide quality assurance for other business analysis and make recommendations for improvementsContribute to the creation of our clients Consulting practice through documenting and publicising approaches, tools and techniques
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or relevant business analysis experienceProven track record of leading requirements analysis and documentationDemonstration of excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsSC clearance minimumDefence / Client experience - industry / commercial knowledge
