We are looking for an experienced BSL interpreter that sensitively can support the additional requirements of people who are deaf and hearing impaired.
The Royal Greenwich Interpreting Service (RGIS) provides face to face language interpreters, British sign language (BSL) interpreters and the translation of documents as required to enable residents to access local health services and services provided by the Council.
The candidate
The successful candidate will have considerable amount of experience in public service BSL interpreting. The candidate should have a recognised qualification in BSL Interpreting and be registered with NRPCD.
Experience of working with health or social care professionals is desirable and other areas of expertise such as medical and legal interpreting are certainly an advantage.

This is a part-time post, 17.5hrs per week (salary shown is full time).
