The Bristlenose Pleco is an easy fish to care for. They are algae eaters, and, having a diet of vegetation makes plecos an ideal aquarium addition. They are terrific tank cleaners who will "vacuum" the substrate as well as clean the tank glass. As peaceful and sociable fish, plecos fit nicely into community tanks.
