Vintage Boosey & Hawkes Emperor wooden B flat clarinet

The serial number 115184 dates the instrument to around 1956. Unfortunately, arthritis now prevents me from playing, so it's time for someone else to enjoy it.

Because of its age, the logos have all but disappeared, but the E of Emperor is still visible.

The bore has been regularly oiled and there are no splits.

This clarinet has a beautiful tone.

Complete with the original B&H No.2 mouthpiece and a Legere 2.0 reed (sterilised), a spare short barrel (Hanson), cork grease and pull-through.

The case is modern and houses the instrument in 2 halves, which makes it quick and easy to put together.

This would make a good, inexpensive upgrade for an advancing young player.
