Are you an experienced bookkeeper with a passion for construction?
I am working with a small construction company based in Kingston, looking for a bookkeeper/office manager to join their team. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions of our business, including:
Processing invoices, payments, and expensesPreparing financial reports and statementsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date recordsHandling payroll, tax, and VATLiaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractorsOrdering office supplies and equipmentManaging staff schedulesEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulations To be successful in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industryA qualification in accounting, finance, or related fieldProficiency in Sage 50 and Excel, and other accounting softwareExcellent communication and organisational skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA positive and proactive attitude
