Looking for a semi–senior accountant who performs well as an all–rounder/bookkeeper.The Company:Well established local accountancy which has developed a great network of clients for the past twenty years. It is a very busy working environment with beautiful offices and great on–site amenities. The company has a loyal client base which is a combination of different industries including; transport, computing, retail and property. They also provide audit services to multiple charities and solicitors. Duties/ Requirements:– Preparation of statutory accounts from start to finish– Preparing tax returns for partnerships and limited companies– Assisting with VAT returns– Supporting senior team with accounting queries – Liaising with clients to gather relevant information and attend client meetings when required– Using accounting software such as Caseware, Quickbooks and knowledge of Mercia programming – Experience completing consolidations– Maintaining good working relationships with clients and colleagues– Working in office full time (x5 days a week)– Part Qualified: AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA– At least x2 years experience within an accountancy practice or industry – Experienced Microsoft Excel user– Strong technical accounting knowledge – Good understanding of statutory accounts– Driving licence and access to own car (travelling to site in Woolwich x2 days a week)What you'll get in return– 28 days including bank holidays (holiday entitlement) – Enrolment on NEST company pension– Free parking on site– Career progression opportunitiesWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up–to–date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
