Working Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Collingwood are an innovative education organisation based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. We design and deliver education and training programmes across the UK and also manage international programmes around the world. We are looking to expand our bookings administration team, who manage the recruitment of schools to our free UK projects. The role involves co-ordinating email, phone, and bookings campaigns to schools in targeted areas and managing the project visits to schools.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and over the phone), strong organisational ability and essential IT experience (email, excel, Microsoft Teams). Most importantly, a commitment to making a difference to young people's lives. The role is office based, from our headquarters in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
Telephone campaigns including cleansing school contact details and making outgoing calls to schools to offer our free programmesConducting email campaigns to schools and converting responses into bookingsAdministrating the end to end booking process; taking bookings, liaising with schools, confirmations, sending information and resources, logistics, and follow upManaging and updating databases and tour schedulesTaking responsibility for school visit areas, making sure each programme is fully bookedBooking team accommodationLiaising with our teams while they are touring schoolsOrganising PR opportunitiesOccasional project visits in schoolsRequirements and skills:
Strong interpersonal skills - over the phone, via email and TeamsExperience of working with Excel, Email, and Microsoft Teams is idealGoal orientated - achieving minimum bookings requirement for all projectsStrong time management including balancing outgoing campaigns with ongoing administrative tasksAbility and confidence to make consistent outgoing calls (this is not a telesales role as our offers are free however a minimum number of calls are expected per day)Strong team ethic and the ability to work closely with other members of the team on projectsFlexibility to take on other related administrative tasks as requiredBelief in the importance of education and helping young people achieve their potentialCandidates with the experience or relevant job titles of: Booking Administrator, Co-ordinator Office Assistant, General Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Office Support, Customer Support Assistant, Office Admin may also be considered for this role.
