If you are reading this, the bike is still for sale.
BMW R1150GSA . Adventure model.
Registered on 28.06.2002.
Bought 12 October 2022 with 73K miles. Silver with one piece seat.
Previous owner bought this as an introduction to the BMW adventure style of bike. He liked it so much, he then bought the water cooled version, and this bike was tucked away for approx 10 months.
I bought it as a running bike, but sorned, not
Motd and needed tidying up.
Work done.
Frame powdercoated.
New KL145 fuel filter. Fuel tank emptied and red internal paint immaculate. Metal tank version.
Brake fluid flush and calipers stripped. Has Ferodo brake pads all round, and stainless steel braided brake hoses.
Abs not functioning. Abs module still in situe under tank. All pipework and sensors present. Blue abs relay has been removed previously. I'm not keen on abs & electronics so left it as straightforward brakes.
Valve clearances & end float done.
Starter motor stripped & cleaned.
New alternator belt and steering head bearing.
Extended tinted screen.
2 keys - compatible with ignition.
New air filter fitted.

Original catalytic converter removed & replaced (by previous owner) with a Y piece & OEM rear silencer and Lambda sensor.
All service books, mots and receipts.
£1800 no offers.
Mot'd on 02.05.2023 @ 73273 miles.
No advisories.
Bad bits.
Usual corrosion on front engine cover.
Seat has a 3 inch tear to the rear pillion area. This has been repaired.
Has been laid on its side (nearside, with dink to tank and handguard).
Selling bike as I have another bike not being used. No PayPal, prefer cash on pickup or bank transfer.
Note. This is a used and enjoyed bike, not a garage Queen. It rides great and has many more miles left.
Bike now at 75010 miles after a trip to Ullapool and back the coastal route via Gairloch, Applecross, Torridon and Glencoe. 800 mile trip. Bike ran great.
Will increase with good weather.
If the bike is advertised, it is still for sale.
I will remove the advert when sold.
No oil leaks from the bike.
Tank holds 30 litres.
I have fitted a quick disconnect hose to ease tank removal.
Clutch fluid also bled at same time as brake fluid change.
There is a receipt for a clutch slave cylinder, so I would think the clutch was replaced at the same time. Can't confirm that though.
Bike pulls very well and with the cat removed, has a great sound.
Will also include a new unused bagster style tank cover, aluminium bash plate and spotlights, wiring and fitting which I removed from the bike.
New tyres fitted on Thursday 12 October.
New rear transmission rubber gaitor. Also greased up the cv joint with the correct Bmw Moly grease.
