Hi,
I am selling my 2006 BMW 330D.
Purchased on 1st January 2015 and used for a daily 80 mile round commute (primarily motorway) from Jan 2015 until March 2020. Since Covid, I have been working remotely from home and have only used the vehicle a handful of times.
I am conscious the vehicle will need money spent on it to get it back up and running because it has not been driven for a long time.
I believe the following will be required:
- New brake discs (although the brake discs are relatively new, I suspect they will now be corroded)
- New tyre required on rear passenger side
- Hardware failure on iDrive which I have been previously quoted £120 to repair, but decided against due to lack of use.
- Possibly a new battery, although, again the battery is fairly new but may be damaged given it has not been started for a long time.
The car will need to be towed given the amount of work required to get it up and running which wouldn't be possible on my driveway.
The car has leather seats, aircon, satnav, automatic gearbox, heated seats and various other options.
The car delivers effortless power due to the smooth gearbox, the 230bhp engine and the amount of torque it can generate - a pleasure to drive.
Given the amount of work the car requires, I have found the cheapest 3 litre coupe in this shape on autotrader and reduced the price by £1,000 to reflect the work that needs doing plus a buffer.
Please no silly offers.
Thanks,
