BMS Project Manager London and South East - GBP60,000

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a BMS Project Manager with Technical, Commercial and Financial awareness to join a dynamic team with a Building Management System Company based in West Sussex. This role will be to cover project in London, the South East, The Oxford area and some work in the Midlands. This role will be a combination of remote working and office based a few days a week.

The BMS Project Manager position

You will have technical experience in delivering exciting projects in multiple sectors i.e., commercial offices, healthcare facilities and datacentres. In this role, you will be scheduling, planning, forecasting and managing all activities from the start of a project to completion.

Responsibilities

Managing projects from conception to completion

Supervising budgets of projects through their lifecycle whilst regularly reporting

Project resourcing

Understanding of project design issues and their solutions

Giving input to the specification of control panels

Supervising the production of the commission file

Collaborating with the Design Manager and Managing Director to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget all the while maintaining the quality of work through out.

Assisting with technical issues

Key requirements

Technical background

Knowledge of Trend, Tridium or Distech

BMS engineering

Commercial and financial awareness

Excellent reporting skills

Project planning and multiple site management

Previous experience of management of medium and large size projects

Previous experience in project management on the BMS controls industry

Salary package

Competitive salary of GBP50,000 GBP60,000 with room to pay more for the right candidate

Car allowance of GBP5,000

To be successful in this role, you will have to be self-motivated and hungry for success to deliver excellent results. You will have great organisational skills and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
