I AM SELLING THIMBLES!! And I can post them...see below!

This is a really handsome Thimble, but sadly I have little information about it. It is fairly light, and finely made. The shape is short and stocky. It is just 2½ cms tall in the centre, and tapers shallowly straight down to the base. It has been enamelled inside and out in a rich blue, with a high gloss. The top is plain metal (presumably brass), heavily dimpled, and there is a plain metal band at the base. Inset around the sides are 3 French Fleur de Lis or Fleur de Lys, in gold and blue Cloisonné, and between, there are metal dashes.

The Thimble was purchased new. It is unused, unmarked and in pristine condition - look at my photos. This is such a pretty thing.

PLEASE NOTE: I have around 15 OTHER very collectable THIMBLES, made of Pewter, Porcelain, Glass and Silver, purchased several years ago from The Thimble Guild. Many have Certificates of Authenticity or the original receipt.
