My story
**Adoption fee reduced to $150 in an effort to find Birdie a home!**
Who's a pretty bird? We mean, uh, who's a good Birdie? Okay so Birdie might not be the best dog if you're teaching your kid to identify animals BUT she is the best dog for your family! Birdie is estimated to be about 2.5 years old and is 35 lbs. She is fostered with kids and absolutely adores them (and all humans), but prefers to be the only pet in the home. Birdie rides well in the car, is potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She will need a 6ft fenced in yard where she can safely run around and play. She's energetic and is always up for an outting or an adventure, and is the perfect motivation to get out and enjoy nature, even on the gloomiest of days. You won't regret making Birdie a part of your life- apply today!

We believe Birdie is a mixed breed (possibly beagle mix?) and was born around 5/19/2021 and she is 35 lbs. This puppy/dog is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $150 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email [email protected] to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the puppy/dog. Preference is given to applicants with a verifiable vetting history, fenced yard, and homeownership.
