Bioprocessing Scientist - Biology and Engineering

Newton Colmore is working with a biotechnology innovator in Cambridge and is searching for a scientist to join their fledgling bioprocessing team.

The bioprocessing scientist will be charged working on novel solutions to several industrial bioprocessing challenges. This can range from working on sensors that use E.coli to detect hazardous materials and chemicals, through to advanced cell and gene therapy production. The company work at the intersection of biology and engineering, utilising new automation and AI technology to develop step-changes in products and biomanufacturing capabilities.

You will be using your experience to work on technologies from eureka moment and initial ideation, through to delivery and manufacture. You will take charge of the full development process and will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team, all aiming to make a step change with new ideas.
