Bid Manager - nr Portsmouth - circa 55,000 + Bonus + Benefits - Permanent

Primary purpose:

We are looking for a dynamic Bid Manager with a track record of managing complex, engineering, technical bids. Must demonstrate a customer-focused approach, strong ownership, commercial awareness, and a history of winning projects through the integration of in-house and third-party solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute Win Strategies with Sales Leads.Create comprehensive Bid Plans and schedules.Manage bid resources, assign responsibilities, and support Price to Win development.Define proposal structures and support effective proposal writing.Conduct Lessons Learned sessions post-bid submission.Oversee bid-related elements of the Business Management System.

Essential Requirements:

Solid bid management & writing experience in a comparable environment.Proven track record of winning complex bids.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Experience with subcontractors in a bidding environment.Ability to obtain Security Check Clearance

Desirable Requirements:

Familiarity with Bid Lifecycle Management methodologies (Shipley or similar).Degree-level educated.Experience bidding to clients operating in high precision engineering environments.
