Trickett Welding is a family run car body and classic car restoration specialist based in Holton Heath, Poole, Dorset

We have a position available for a motivated multi skilled body shop technician

We are looking for a panel beater / fabricator / panel prep specialist to work on classic and modern vehicles. Experience in painting would be an asset.

Responsibilities and Duties

The main aspect of this job will be to undertake the preparation of classic and modern cars including fine filler work, prepping ready for spray painting.

The ability to strip and refit parts from a vehicle and fabricate panels when required is essential, the ability to weld would be an asset..

Someone who can work off their own initiative to a high standard, in a modern well-lit and heated workshop and can work as part of a successful team.

Instruction and advise can be given on specific jobs if required, however experience in this field is essential.

You should be confident using all the necessary tools and materials

Bodyshop Technician with upwards of 5 years experience. requirements:

A Motivated Energetic Individual, that works well as part of a team

Skilled in all aspects of automotive panel prep

Must hold a full uk driving licence

Being skilled at small panel repairs will be an advantage

Good verbal communication

Extensive strip and fit experience

Good mechanical skill is an advantage but not essential

This is a Monday to Friday role, no weekends, 8am until 5pm.

Pay is dependent on experience.
