An established 4-partner practice in Richmond, within walking distance of Richmond train station, is seeking a General Practice Accounts and Audit Senior to join their friendly accounts/audit team. The role involves working with a range of clients, including small businesses, medium-sized companies with international connections, charities, and other not-for-profit entities.
Role Overview:
Split role: 40% accounts preparation, 40% audit, 20% tax preparation, and other tasks.
Work on company/non-incorporated entity accounts preparation, corporation tax computations, and audit.
Gain all-round experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, external audit, and corporation tax.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts.
Preparation of management accounts.
External audit.
Corporation tax experience.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of accountancy experience in a small to medium-sized practice in England.
Experience with external audits, FRS 102 1A accounts, and corporation tax preparation.
ACCA/ACA qualified or late part-qualified with audit experience.
Experience using Caseware accounts production, Digita Corporation Tax, Mercia Audit Manuals, and online bookkeeping packages (Xero, Sage, Quickbooks) would be useful but not mandatory.
