This thriving firm of experienced accountants is looking for a detail–orientated and highly organised professional, with good time management and strong IT skills who can oversee the provision of audits from planning to completion as well as accounting services for a significant client portfolio with large associated turnovers. Consisting of large corporate entities this role will suit someone who is technically excellent and has first–class attention to detail.

You'll be a great communicator and be unphased by serving clients with large turnovers. Enhancing client relationships will be a large part of the role so you'll also need excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. You will also be able to build trusted and long–lasting relationships with clients, whilst always striving to deliver excellence.

Job Purpose

Management of audits, from planning to completionPreparation of accounts for corporate organisations, as well as corporation tax returns.Lead a portfolio of clients, from resource planning to WIP and budget management.Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being the go–to for support.Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development.Confidently present work to Partners, completing files to a high standard.Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.Handle compliance queries from clients, acting as the main point of contact and delivering clear communications.Provide quotes and estimate fees.Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm.Delegate work to, and mentor new trainees, supporting with their learning and developmentSet an example for the team as a natural leader About The Employer
