Hearing Aid Audiologist needed for M&S Opticians in Glasgow

A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Hearing Aid Audiologist to join the successful team at Marks & Spencer Opticians in Glasgow. You will be responsible for the Audiology side of the business and will have the opportunity to lead marketing efforts with the full backing of the senior management team. You will partner with the successful Optics side of the business to increase your customer base via referrals and be able to grow your business organically. This is a great opportunity for somebody that wants to mould a business and really make their mark.

You will be dealing with private patients only and working with brands such as Oticon, Bernafon, Starkey and Phonak. Whilst you will have targets, this is not a hard sell environment. M&S are looking for someone who can reflect their ethos of "quality of service and quality of product".

Your day to day role will be testing, demoing, fitting and selling whilst also promoting the business. The majority of the admin and paperwork will be taken care of by the Optical Assistants in store freeing up more time for you to deal with patients and give them the attention that they need.

The practice itself is modern, warm, and welcoming and has been praised by customers.

Customer service skills are paramount as patient care is at the forefront of everything M&S Opticians do. You will be making recommendations and offering advice with the latest and the best Hearing Aid technology. You will offer individual care plans which will support your patients throughout their life.

Requirements for the role of Hearing Aid Audiologist

You must be a qualified Audiologist/Hearing Aid Audiologist with full right to work in the UK - unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this role. You will have a friendly and personable demeanour with a strong personal work ethic alongside a customer focused approach to your work. The ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike is essential.
