Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometryInterpret test results and make appropriate recommendations for treatment or further evaluationFit and dispense hearing aids, including selection, verification, and counseling on use and careProvide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing conservationCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with hearing loss or related disordersStay current with advancements in audiology through continuing education and professional development Skills: Strong knowledge of audiological assessment techniques and equipmentProficient in the fitting and programming of hearing aidExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgroundsAbility to analyze and interpret complex audiological test resultsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records and documentation accuratelyCompassionate and patient-centered approach to providing care Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and skills required for the position of Audiologist.
