Description

We are representing an globally renowned real estate practice. The client we represent have offices in over 40 countries and are searching for a Senior surveyor or Associate Director level Valuer within their prestigious portfolio valuation department. Whilst the vast majority of your case load will be portfolio focussed, you will still be involved in a variety of teams and working on different projects and clients keeping the role diverse and interesting. Our client offer a superb team to work in, with some world class professionals that will aid your development, taking you to the next level within your career.

What is the job and its responsibilities?

Adhere to all deadlines set for the completion of work, working as part of a team to meet common goals. Acquire and build a sound knowledge of property markets and legal case law. Take a close interest in the property press and the national press with a view to digesting and understanding the current property market and trends. Abide by the principles set out by the RICS Maintain records of valuations, including computer files at all times as per the company guidelines. Maintain confidentiality in respect of all work undertaken by the Department and to be aware of what is likely to be sensitive information. Responsibility to the clients?

Respond quickly to client enquiries. Foster the professional image of the client at all times. Be capable in the preparation of reports. New business and client development

Undertake such valuations as gained personally or are allocated by seniors in an accurate and professional manner. Have the ability to increase the range and quantity of instructions via business generation Understand and be proficient in the use of all the office technology employed in undertaking valuations. Attend events to promote the department and firm amongst clients and professional organisations. What IT/Software experience is required?

Argus Valuation/developer Word Excel What do you need to be successful in the role?

Degree educated MRICS & RICS Registered Valuer Broad UK property and/or fund/portfolio valuations experience. Desire and drive to be the best you can be, offering clients best service in class A Team player with a passion for the industry.
