As an Associate Creative Director, you're joining the agency to spearhead the creative development of one of our flagship accounts. Your role is pivotal in not only driving creativity for this key account but also in expanding the overall creative output of the agency.
In this position, you must be well-versed in modern brand activation. Your portfolio should vividly illustrate your ability to receive blue-chip brand marketing briefs and transform them into compelling creative content across brand activation channels ranging from live events to content campaigns and influencer content.
As the ACD, you'll lead and manage the ideation process for clients, overseeing all aspects of creative output. Your role involves actively conceptualizing responses, leading a team of artworkers, designers, and copywriters to ensure our ideas resonate. You'll be a hands-on creative producer, adept at delegating work as needed, whether utilizing in-house or freelance resources. Operating in a deadline-driven environment is second nature to you.
Understanding your key client s business intimately is crucial. You'll develop fresh creative thinking to consistently meet communication and marketing briefs. Collaborating with the client services team, you'll identify key stakeholders and business opportunities, maintaining a high, consistent standard of creative response.
To be successful, you'll need to demonstrate how your creativity is fueled by insight showcasing your ability to trace big creative ideas back to verifiable brand or consumer truths. Being a consummate presenter is essential; you should tell the story of a creative idea effectively, bringing stakeholders along with you. A practical understanding and interest in production and technologies are crucial for creating winning experiential creative.
Concrete experience in creating marketing campaigns aimed at Gen Z and Millennial demographics is a must. An understanding of youth culture, touchpoints, and values will be invaluable in bringing new audiences into the brands we work with, ensuring our creative responses are informed by an understanding of younger consumers.
Skills required:
Over 6 years of experience in a creative function and leadership, preferably obtained at an experiential agency or a creative business with a specific live event offering. Demonstrable experience in creating and pitching creative brand activation campaigns, with strong presentation skills and an instinctive understanding of how to respond to blue-chip brand marketing briefs. Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and positioning strategies, with the ability to implement them to create dynamic creative solutions. Demonstrable experience collaborating and delegating to junior staff and colleagues. Adept at working with multiple stakeholders and delivering creative marketing ideas with an insight-driven and consumer-centric approach. An energizing and passionate creative presence, serving as a source of knowledge regarding the latest cultural and creative developments in the markets we work in. Refined eye for detail, capable of communicating a consumer journey through a brand experience. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle large workloads. Excellent spoken and written English language ability, to native standard, and demonstrated experience in creating clear and persuasive copy. Understanding of production and fabrication techniques in relation to experiential production and technologies. Proficiency in or understanding of design software would be advantageous.
