Business Rates / Ratings / Surveyor

We are partnered with a globally renowned commercial real estate services company, providing a full range of services to real estate occupiers, developers and investors on a local, national and international basis. We are searching for a qualified Senior Surveyor or Associate level Business Rates (Ratings) professional to join their Manchester offices. This division has around 15 staff in that specific office and provide a UK wide comprehensive, full 360 integrated service.

What is the role?

This would mainly be auditing historical valuations and reclaim overpaid business rates, challenging business rates valuation and managing business rate accounts although the caseload is highly varied dependent on client and their needs. The overall Business rates team, UK wide, have advised clients for over 60,000 properties, including one-off buildings to large property portfolios. Therefore, you will be tasked with not only negotiating better business rates for our prestigious client base, but also partnering with them to offer a comprehensive and best in class rating service and developing client relationships.

What are we looking for?

A qualified surveyor, that is able to work self-sufficiently, and take on large volume of work with major clients. Driven and with an energy to provide a high quality service in line with the business standards Someone who Is keen to develop themselves professionally Ability to be based out of the Manchester office, although travel will be necessary so work from home option is there.
