Administrator Assistant to Garden Designer - Part Time

As demand for their work increases, they are working with us here at Better People to source a multi-skilled Assistant to the Garden Designer.
The Administrator/ Assistant Garden Designer role is varied and interesting, supporting the business owner with everything from sourcing plants to diary management, booking client and supplier meetings to preparation of mood boards and quotations to actually assisting with planting now and again.
In short this is a right hand person to the Garden Designer providing admin and process support to improve efficiency of the business and to allow the Designer to spend more time on design and with their clients.
The role is part time, working around 16 hours a week across 3 days ideally and may occasionally require a few more hours in a week but this will be by arrangement and will of course be paid.
This may suit someone with a passion for horticulture who wants more than a part time administration role.
Ideal candidates Will be/have:
Good organisational skills for diary management, project plans, arranging and preparing for meetingsResourceful and able to think on their feetLiving within 45 minutes drive from NewburyGood internet research skills for sourcing suppliers, plants and productsGood record keeping and upkeep of Excel spreadsheetsConfident with technology and good Outlook Word Excel and Powerpoint skillsInterested in plants, gardens and with a passion for sustainability.Filing and storage of electronic files and dataPhysically fit and able to occasionally help with planting, loading and unloading etcGood creative eye for creating and presenting plant guides and Nurture Plans for clientsCar owners and able to drive to client sites and to go to work with the Designer in their home office nr Newbury If you think the idea of working alongside a creative garden designer with a rapidly growing business, appeals to you then appeal today.
