Defour Partnership (Social Care) is working closely with an exceptional Social Care Charity recruiting for an Assistant Service Manager in Bradford.

The role involves providing support to the Registered Service Manager in the day to day management and leadership of the team. Deputising in the absence of the manager by providing residential support to people with autism and other care needs.

QCF 3 in Adult Health & Social Care or above. Experience of working with people with autism, in either a work or personal environment. Experience of supporting people with a Positive Behaviour Support approach. Full, clean driving licence is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate with people we support, colleagues, professionals and families. Excellent written communication skills and ability to write accurate reports. Experience of the key worker role. Ability to work as part of a team or work independently. Able to provide personal care. Able to work flexible hours including weekends, nights etc according to the needs of the people in service. Honesty and reliability. Interested, motivated and committed. Accessible, approachable and comfortable with vulnerable people with complex needs.
