A unique opportunity has become available for a well-rounded Assistant Mine Manager, to join a global leader in Energy engineering. You'll manage all day-to-day operations in a modern Barite mine. It's an underground hard rock drill and blast operation that started production in 2021.
This is a highly varied and hands-on role, where you'll manage a small team, and be involved in all aspects of the operation.
Role Responsibilities
Assistant Mine Manager under the Mines Regulations 2014Responsible for the mine when the Mine Manager is off siteResponsibility for day to day safety and operations, work planning and allocation etcPrepare and apply risk assessments, rules and training documentsInterim surveys to monitor progress and give guidance to mining operationsMonitoring of geological controls and gathering information and input into designMonitoring geotechnical controls and input into designMine development design in SurpacAssist operators with blast design Requirements
