Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their team, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract.
Reporting into the Management Accountant you will be responsible for preparation of the management accounts, full reporting and supporting the wider finance team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the production of management information, including monthly management accounts Support additional financial reporting as required on a regular basis, such as cost analysis, quality and control recommendationsSupport the production of rolling short and medium-term cash flow forecasts, identifying and planning for seasonal/other variances.Support the Senior Finance Team in the budgeting processAssist with the production of the yearly audited financial statements as requiredImplement strong financial controls and processes to enhance the reporting information currently availablePromote and deliver strong accounting and cost control within the businessOther tasks as reasonably required, including ad-hoc analysis and project work Person Specification:
A minimum of 2 years financial reporting experienceDemonstrate an understanding of standard Management Accounts reporting formats and key performance indicatorsAdvanced Excel skillsKeen to learn and develop new skills If you are interested in this role please get in touch or click apply now!
