The Team & Focus of the Role

Due to growth, we're now looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team based in our Head Office, working within our hybrid working policy. This role will suit you if you have some experience within a finance/accounting department, are a strong team player and you are driven by a high attention to detail. The core purpose of this role is to provide management accounting support to colleagues within Fisher German however some wider project work will also be involved to help drive the function forward and to improve processes across the business from a finance capacity.
The role will be based from our Ashby de la Zouch office, it will be full time (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm) however we can be flexible on start/finish times as long as our core hours of 10am – 4pm are covered.
Duties will include:
Direct involvement in monthly management reporting for the firmDirect responsibility for managing and improvements in the quality of processes and data in our ERP systemAssisting in production of the monthly forecastAssisting in production of the annual budgetAssisting the FP&A team as required with various projects, for example implementation of the finance dashboards in PowerBI and financial planning softwareAd hoc reports and tasks as required The successful candidate will have
Previous experience in the management accounting type role is desiredPrevious experience in managing large data sets and the quality of data in the ERP systemExceptionally high attention to detailExperience with PowerBI is desirable (but not essential)Be a strong team player with the ability to work to your own initiativeExcellent communication skills at a variety of levelsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, specifically pivot tables, formulas, V– and H– lookups, IF statementsConfidence with a friendly personalityStudying for a professional accounting qualification (desirable) Why Fisher German?
