CMA are partnering with an ambitious business based in Portsmouth, who are on the acquisition trail to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a time of significant change with a new Finance Director in post, who has exciting and progressive plans for the team. The Assistant Management Accountant will play a key role in the daily report, analysis and production of management accounts.

What will the Assistant Management Accountant role involve?

Balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities;Ad hoc analysis including variance analysis;Gathering information and producing daily and weekly reports;Internal stakeholder engagement including advising and educating around finance matters;Other ad hoc duties within finance. Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:

ACCA/CIMA studying or ambition to begin your studies this year;Strong varied experience across transactional finance and assisting with production of management accounts;A proven analytical and problem solving skillset;Strong IT skills including pivot tables within Excel.
