Ok, here me out.
This bass cab is an absolute unit. With a handling of 450w at 8ohms, this cab can handle virtually any head you pair it with (if my understanding of it is accurate, then it could output 900w at 4ohms?). I've used it basically weekly for years with a Darkglass 900v2 and never had to turn the volume past 11 o'clock. It is one of the most reliable pieces of gear I've ever owned.
Sure, its look leaves a lot to be desired. Years of hauling it across the country has left its shell scratched up, missing metal corner cover thingies (don't know what they're called, but I've photographed the ones that are still around), and a missing plastic bit for the soundhole at the back (also photographed), but all the important bits are there.
Soundwise, the cab does exactly what you need it to do. There's no bullshit with it - you plug in your amp and it will work and it'll work very well.
I thought I had blown a speaker in it about a year ago, so I opened it up and cleaned all the dust that was inside it and even had someone look at the connections. They confirmed that the amp was in tip top condition and that everything was working flawlessly, which I should have expected given that this thing looks and feels like it could survive a nuclear apocalypse. Turns out the head I was using was the problem all along, what a fool I was for doubting this monolith of a cab.
The dimensions are 67cm x 60cm x 43cm, and it weights aproximately 37kg. A quick google search tells me the frequency response is 60Hz - 20kHz, I've even played in Drop A with it and it still sounds great.
If you need a no-thrills bass cab that gets the job done, is consistent and reliable, then this is the cab for you. Personally I'd be perfectly happy to continue using this cab for another 10 years if I had to, but I promised everyone I'm in a band with that I'd replace it with something smaller and lighter to make our load in/outs easier.
I can personally deliver to Liverpool/Cheshire/Manchester for no extra charge. Send me a message if you'd like it delivered further than that and we'll see if we can sort something out.
Any questions feel free to ask!
