Usage description (sales description below):

This hoist has been used to lift an 82kg 6ft tall person (with a large sling), and a 35kg 5ft 4inch tall person (with a small sling).

The hoist can be used to transfer into a car or taxi, or even into a small car such as a two-door Toyota Yaris. The hoist can then be folded up and – with part of the rear split seat folded down – be placed in the back of the Yaris along with a folded wheelchair, a seated carer and a weeks' worth of supermarket shopping.

The hoist weighs 23kg.

In addition to chair-to-chair, chair to commode, chair to stair lift, and chair to car transfers, it has also been used to hoist someone from floor level (after careful checks).

This hoist has been used indoors and outdoors, but never in a wet environment or bathroom.

Purchased new in 2017, there is some usage scratching to the metal coating, but this does not affect the function or safety of the hoist.
