We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented architect or technologist/technician to join our growing team and be key to establishing our new Nottingham practice.
Your responsibilities:
In this role you will handle projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction. You will manage client relationships, develop and present design proposals, and prepare drawings, specifications and construction documents. You will conduct research and compile reports on feasibility and environmental impact, and comply with safety standards and local planning regulations. You will adhere to budgets and timelines and effectively collaborate with others to achieve an outstanding build.
Our ideal candidate:
Technically creative and open-minded, you will have 5+ years of architectural experience, and demonstrable skills in preparing, managing and reviewing project documents including drawings and specifications. You will have technical competence with REVIT and AUTOCAD and a willingness to develop technical proficiency through in-house training. You will be keen to share your expertise by mentoring colleagues and supporting their technical development.
You will be comfortable being the main point of contact with our Nottingham clients and contractors, working independently drawing on your colleagues in Stamford when needed. You will be focused on delivering all work allocated to you by the Project Lead to always achieve a high quality service. You will be able to work at pace, prioritise, adapt and make decisions to ensure project budgets and timelines are met and client expectations exceeded. You will be comfortable taking responsibility for your work, and supervising juniors, escalating appropriately to the Project Lead.
