To provide professional, accurate advice to line manager, County and District members and to in house staffTo attend countywide sites, to assess tree condition and necessary works and adviseTo instruct works to our treeTo manage own site inspection workloads.To advise on development schemes, S278, S38 and planningTo remain up to date with current industry legislation andTo maintain good communication between the Client andTo meet project deadlines and provide accurate and proportionate arboricultural advice.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture or equivalentArboricultural Association Technicians Certificate, or equivalent (or working towards this).Arboriculture experience, with particular experience in tree work or planting, according to post, together with relevant practical experience.Practical knowledge of tree biology and structure, plant identification, tree pests and diseases, law in relation to Highway trees, planting practices and standards, arboricultural costings, the environmental impact of and on trees and awareness of currentCompetent ITEffective written and verbal communication skills, including reportUnderstanding of contract documentation and management
