Role Overview
You will take the lead on LEBC's Apprenticeship Service, liaising with schools and colleges to identify young people who are looking to secure an Apprenticeship through the delivery of Apprenticeship presentations, workshops and attendance at careers events.
You will use your excellent communication skills to identify local organisations wishing to recruit an Apprentice and provide an effective recruitment service to employers to increase the chances of young people securing work. The role includes approaching companies to encourage them to offer Apprenticeships, focusing on growth industries, in line with local skills gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging talks and workshops for young individuals in years 11-13, securing bookings with schools and collegesIdentify organisations offering Higher Level Degree Apprenticeships, sharing this valuable information with eager young mindsStay updated on Apprenticeship standards and local labor market trends, guiding young people towards opportunitiesAppraise and help enhance young people's CVs, showcasing transferable skills and achievementsFoster relationships with employers, encouraging work experience opportunities for both parties' benefitContribute innovative ideas to marketing campaigns, elevating LEBC's Apprenticeship recruitment service in the local communitySource compelling case studies and testimonials, inspiring young minds about their Apprenticeship journeyMaintain data trackers to monitor service provision, ensuring compliance with GDPR and Safeguarding policies Requirements:
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle insured for business useEnhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be carried out on the successful candiate Benefits:
