Marked on rear with JS&S.B
These pieces are English and appear to have been produced mainly in the early 1900's.
This is a large serving type plate, with pressed designed edges and some etching still visible but mostly not on plate face .Approx 20 ins long , clean but worn with some age related markings.
Made around time of Arts and Crafts movement
J.S&S and J.S.&S.B registered design documents show the company name as Joseph Sankey and Sons, Limited with an address of Albert Street Works, Bilston, Staffordshire.
