Avencia Consulting are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Insurer based in The City who are looking to hire an Anaplan Developer to join.

The role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Anaplan developer will be key in the development and delivery of all aspects of the Anaplan production and MI workspace.

Key accountabilities

Ownership and responsibility for development of key analysis within both the production and MI workspace. Including underwriting, actuarial, finance and operational management information.Ownership of developing the automated integration with the wider ecosystem through API.Ownership of the control and validation framework within the system to ensure internal audit requirements are met and maintained.Preparation and automation of key analysis for key stakeholders within the business; EXCO reporting, underwriting analysis etc.Complete day to day ownership of the system maintenanceOwnership of a process document of the systemWorking with the FP&A team to produce analysis.A Review of the current design identifying any issues with the current model to avoid data sparsity.Development of key analysis models to help inform decision making.Involvement in additional finance projects as required.Skills & experience

University Degree and a minimum of 1 year experience with building Anaplan modelsCertified Level 1 and Level 2 Anaplan model builderInsurance experience desirableExperience with accounting systems and processes is desired; implementation and development experience a plusMust be able to work effectively both independently and within a teamExperience dealing directly with senior management and key stakeholders preferredDemonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesAble to deliver accurate and thoughtful work within tight deadlines
