At S3 Science, we are proud to be working with our client, a clinical stage Cell and Gene Therapy company based near Stevenage, who are looking for an Analytical Scientist to join their growing team. The role of Analytical Scientist will include leading and executing a multifaceted analytical strategy process and perform validation. This is a permanent role offering a salary of GBP38,000 - GBP45,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilise a diverse range of analytical techniques to monitor and analyse critical parameters related to bioreactor performanceDesign and implement validation protocols that specifically address the diverse analytical aspects of bioreactor performanceGenerate, analyse, and interpret data obtained from bioreactor experiments, providing a holistic view of process performance and potential areas for optimisationMaintain and calibrate a variety of analytical instruments, including those required for microscopy, flow cytometry, and gene expression analysismeticulous records of experimental work, validation protocols, and analytical methods, covering all aspects of bioreactor analyticsPrepare clear and concise reports summarising analytical findings and validation results for internal stakeholders and regulatory purposesProvide training to team members on a broad spectrum of analytical techniques, including microscopy, flow cytometry, and gene expression analysis Job Requirements:
Advanced degree (Masters or PHD) in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or a related fieldExperience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, ELISA, etcFamiliarity with validation protocols and regulatory requirements for cell therapiesExperience with FlowJo and GraphPad Prism or similar Strong documentation skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work independently and contribute effectively to cross-functional teams
